Overview

TSC-203-A02 is an investigational T-cell receptor (TCR) engineered T-cell therapy developed by T-Scan Therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors. It is a component of the company's ImmunoBank, which utilizes a multiplexed approach to target various cancer antigens across different HLA types. TSC-203-A02 specifically targets the Preferentially Expressed Antigen in Melanoma (PRAME), a cancer-testis antigen that is highly expressed in a wide range of solid malignancies—including melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer, and head and neck cancers—but has limited expression in healthy tissues. The therapy involves modifying a patient's own T cells to express a high-affinity TCR that recognizes a PRAME-derived peptide presented by the HLA-A*02:01 molecule. Once infused back into the patient, these engineered T cells identify and eliminate PRAME-positive tumor cells, providing a targeted immunotherapy option for patients with the appropriate HLA genotype.
