tsRNA-3040b agomir is a chemically modified, double-stranded RNA oligonucleotide designed to mimic the endogenous transfer RNA-derived small RNA (tsRNA) tsRNA-3040b (specifically tsRNA-Asp-GTC-3040b). Synthesized by GENEWIZ, this research compound is used to investigate the molecular mechanisms of pulmonary hypertension (PH). It functions by promoting the accumulation of R-loops in the genomic DNA of the Trim35 gene, which subsequently inhibits Trim35 transcription. This downregulation triggers the Wnt3a signaling pathway and leads to disordered glycolysis, promoting the proliferation of pulmonary artery endothelial cells (PAECs). Due to its chemical modifications, the agomir exhibits high stability and membrane affinity, making it particularly suitable for in vivo preclinical animal experiments.
