Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TSX-011 is a novel oral testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) containing testosterone undecanoate, developed to restore normal testosterone levels in hypogonadal men. Unlike most current TRT options, which are injectable, nasal, or topical and may carry risks such as inadvertent transfer of testosterone to others, TSX-011 is designed for oral administration and has demonstrated the potential for once-daily dosing. Preclinical studies indicate that it can be dosed in a fasted state without the need for fatty food intake. The drug aims to address unmet needs in hypogonadism treatment by providing an effective and convenient alternative with favorable safety and pharmacokinetic profiles[1][3][4][8].
