Overview

TT-02332 is a novel, highly potent, and selective small molecule inhibitor of the NLRP3 inflammasome, developed by TransThera Biosciences. The NLRP3 inflammasome is a key component of the innate immune system, and its aberrant activation is linked to a variety of inflammatory and metabolic disorders. TT-02332 is distinguished by its high central nervous system (CNS) penetration, making it a promising candidate for neurodegenerative diseases in addition to systemic conditions. Preclinical studies have demonstrated its efficacy in models of obesity reversal, cardiovascular risk reduction, and various inflammatory diseases. The compound's pharmacokinetic profile supports once-daily dosing. In November 2025, TransThera Biosciences entered into a significant licensing agreement with Neurocrine Biosciences to develop and commercialize TT-02332 in territories outside of Greater China.
