TT308 is an investigational regenerative therapeutic being developed by Tempo Therapeutics for the treatment of volumetric muscle loss (VML) and skeletal muscle regeneration. It is based on the company's proprietary Microporous Annealed Particle (MAP) technology, which utilizes microgel building blocks that are annealed in situ to form a highly porous, biomimetic scaffold. Unlike traditional nanoporous hydrogels, the MAP scaffold's interconnected micrometer-scale pores allow for immediate cellular infiltration, nutrient exchange, and vascularization. TT308 is specifically engineered to modulate the local immune environment, shifting it from a pro-inflammatory state to a pro-healing Type 2 immune response. This immunomodulatory effect supports the formation of functional muscle tissue and reduces the development of non-functional fibrotic scar tissue.
