Overview

TT425 is an investigational regenerative medicine candidate developed by Tempo Therapeutics, utilizing their proprietary **Microporous Annealed Particle (MAP)** technology. It is an injectable, synthetic hydrogel scaffold composed of monodisperse microgel beads that anneal *in situ* to form a stable, highly porous network. Unlike traditional nanoporous hydrogels, the microporous structure of TT425 allows for immediate host cell infiltration, rapid vascularization, and integration with surrounding tissues. The scaffold is designed to modulate the local immune environment, specifically promoting M2 macrophage polarization to create a pro-regenerative niche rather than a fibrotic or chronic inflammatory response. TT425 is primarily being developed for the treatment of **volumetric muscle loss (VML)** and other complex musculoskeletal tissue defects where significant tissue volume has been lost due to trauma or surgery.
