TT46 is a potential DNA vaccine developed through DNA shuffling, incorporating a helper T-cell epitope from the tetanus toxin B subunit. It is being investigated for its antiangiogenic properties and its ability to enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy, specifically doxorubicin, in treating hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Studies in mouse models of H22 hepatocellular carcinoma have shown that TT46 vaccination can significantly reduce microvessel counts, inhibit tumor angiogenesis, and improve survival rates when combined with doxorubicin.
