Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TTAX03 is a lyophilized human amniotic membrane and umbilical cord (AM/UC) particulate developed by BioTissue (a TissueTech company). It is a regenerative biologic product designed to treat inflammatory and degenerative conditions by leveraging the natural therapeutic properties of birth tissues. The product is processed using proprietary technology to preserve the biological integrity of the heavy chain hyaluronic acid-pentraxin 3 (HC-HA/PTX3) complex, which is the primary active component responsible for its anti-inflammatory and pro-healing effects. TTAX03 is currently in Phase 2 clinical trials for mild to moderate dry eye disease (administered as an ophthalmic solution after reconstitution) and knee osteoarthritis (administered via intra-articular injection), and in Phase 1 for lumbosacral facet joint pain.
