Overview

TTG-108 is a preclinical monoclonal antibody that selectively blocks the voltage-gated sodium channel Nav1.8, a key mediator of action potential firing in peripheral nociceptive neurons and an established target for pain modulation. Developed by TetraGenetics, now a subsidiary of AbCellera (AbCellera Boston), TTG-108 was investigated as an ion channel–modulating antibody for nervous system disorders, with peripheral nerve injuries and pain-related indications highlighted in early pipeline listings. By inhibiting Nav1.8, TTG-108 is intended to reduce pathological neuronal excitability and nociceptive signal transmission, potentially offering a biologic alternative to small-molecule Nav1.8 inhibitors for analgesia.[1][13][16][18]
