Overview

TTI-109 is an investigational, orally bioavailable small molecule inhibitor of signal transducer and activator of transcription 3 (STAT3). It is structurally related to, but chemically distinct from, Tvardi Therapeutics' earlier STAT3 inhibitor TTI-101. TTI-109 has completed IND-enabling studies and demonstrates key characteristics for clinical use including tolerability, bioavailability, and potency. The drug is being developed for the treatment of fibrosis-driven diseases such as idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) and neoplasms (cancers), with preclinical data supporting its advancement into clinical trials[9][1][7]. Its mechanism involves inhibition of STAT3 signaling pathways implicated in fibrotic and oncogenic processes.
