TTK-567 is a cancer-testis antigen-derived peptide vaccine consisting of the amino acid sequence SYRNEIAYL. It is an HLA-A*2402-restricted epitope derived from the TTK protein kinase (also known as Monopolar spindle 1 or Mps1), which is frequently overexpressed in various malignancies, including esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC). Developed by Wakayama Medical University, TTK-567 functions as an immunotherapy by stimulating cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTLs) to recognize and eliminate cancer cells expressing the TTK antigen. In clinical trials, it has been evaluated in combination with other tumor-associated antigen peptides (such as URLC10-177) and adjuvants like CpG-7909 (Agatolimod) and Montanide ISA 51 for the treatment of advanced or recurrent esophageal cancer.
