Overview

**TTP-ICG** is a novel near-infrared (NIR-II) fluorescent imaging probe developed for real-time intraoperative visualization of tumor margins and metastatic lymph nodes. It consists of a cyclic peptide targeting trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (TROP2) conjugated to the fluorescent dye indocyanine green (ICG). TROP2 is a transmembrane glycoprotein highly overexpressed in various epithelial malignancies, including breast cancer and non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC). By binding specifically to TROP2-expressing tumor cells, TTP-ICG enables high-contrast fluorescence-guided surgery, helping surgeons precisely delineate tumor boundaries and identify metastatic sentinel lymph nodes. The probe is being developed by Yunnan Cancer Hospital, Kunming Medical University, and Xiamen University, and is currently undergoing clinical evaluation for breast cancer and NMIBC.
