Overview

TTRNA-xALT (Total Tumor RNA-pulsed tumor-specific ex vivo expanded Autologous Lymphocyte Transfer) is an adoptive cell therapy approach that uses a patient's own immune cells to target their cancer. The therapy involves collecting a patient's lymphocytes, expanding them ex vivo, and loading them with total tumor RNA derived from the patient's own tumor. These expanded cells are then reinfused into the patient to target and attack cancer cells. TTRNA-xALT is often used in combination with TTRNA-DC vaccines and sometimes with hematopoietic stem cell rescue to enhance immune responses against brain tumors.
