Overview

TTX334 is a first-in-class, non-hormonal therapeutic and diagnostic program developed by Temple Therapeutics for the treatment and detection of endometriosis. The program consists of two components: TTX334e, a therapeutic candidate, and TTX334Dx, a non-invasive diagnostic test. Unlike standard endometriosis treatments that rely on hormonal suppression, TTX334 targets the underlying fibrotic and inflammatory processes of the disease. The therapeutic is a repurposed small molecule that acts as a Galectin-3 inhibitor, modulating pathways involved in the development of endometriotic lesions and associated pain. The diagnostic component, TTX334Dx, utilizes specific biomarkers found in menstrual fluid or tissue to provide a less invasive alternative to surgical laparoscopy for disease identification.
