Overview

TTX336 is an investigational small molecule being developed by Temple Therapeutics for the treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). It functions as a Cyclin-Dependent Kinase 2 (CDK2) inhibitor, targeting the fibrotic pathways that contribute to ovarian dysfunction. In patients with PCOS, chronic inflammation and hormonal imbalances often lead to ovarian fibrosis and stromal thickening, which can impair ovulation and fertility. TTX336 is designed to address these underlying structural changes by modulating the cellular processes involved in excessive collagen deposition and tissue scarring in the ovaries. By inhibiting CDK2, the drug aims to restore normal ovarian function and improve reproductive outcomes for women affected by the syndrome.
