TVAX-006 is a recombinant protein subunit vaccine candidate developed by Grandway SaviXin Life Sciences (Nanjing) for the prevention of herpes zoster (shingles). Produced using a Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cell expression system, the vaccine is designed to elicit protective immune responses against the Varicella-Zoster Virus (VZV). It is currently in Phase 1 clinical development in China, where it is being evaluated for safety, tolerability, and immunogenicity in healthy adults aged 40 years and older.
