Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TVG-ASFV is a veterinary viral-vector vaccine developed by The Vaccine Group (TVG) for the prevention of African swine fever (ASF) in pigs. The vaccine utilizes a proprietary herpesvirus-based viral vector platform to deliver and express specific African Swine Fever Virus (ASFV) antigens. This approach is designed to induce a robust immune response, including both humoral and cellular components, to protect swine against the highly contagious and lethal ASFV. Preclinical studies have demonstrated the vaccine's immunogenicity in pigs, showing its potential as a protective measure against the disease.
