Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TVG-PRRSV vaccine is a herpesvirus-based viral-vector vaccine developed by The Vaccine Group (TVG) for the prevention of Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome (PRRS) in pigs. The vaccine utilizes a herpesvirus vector to deliver and express antigens from the Porcine Reproductive and Respiratory Syndrome Virus (PRRSV). This approach is designed to induce robust protective immunity, specifically T-cell responses, which have been shown in preclinical studies to prevent lung disease associated with PRRSV infection in swine. The vaccine is currently in preclinical development.
