Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TVGN-116 is an investigational, ExacTcell-derived cytotoxic T lymphocyte (CTL) therapy being developed by Tevogen Bio Holdings. It is designed to target Hepatitis B Virus (HBV) antigens to prevent the development of liver cancer (hepatocellular carcinoma) in patients with high-risk chronic Hepatitis B. The therapy utilizes Tevogen's proprietary ExacTcell platform to generate off-the-shelf, non-genetically modified, multi-antigen targeting T cells. By specifically identifying and eliminating HBV-infected cells, TVGN-116 aims to reduce the viral reservoir and the chronic inflammation that leads to oncogenesis. The program is currently in the preclinical stage of development.
