Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TVGN-520 is an investigational allogeneic, off-the-shelf cytotoxic CD8+ T lymphocyte (CTL) therapy developed by Tevogen Bio using its proprietary ExacTcell™ platform. The therapy is designed to treat HPV-driven malignancies by targeting specific antigens across the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) genome. Unlike traditional CAR-T or TCR-T therapies, TVGN-520 utilizes genetically unmodified T cells that leverage natural immune recognition to identify and eliminate cancerous cells expressing HPV proteins. This approach aims to provide a targeted treatment for various HPV-associated cancers while potentially offering a better safety profile and broader applicability as an allogeneic product. The therapy is currently being evaluated in Phase 1 clinical development.
