**TVP211** is a genetically engineered oncolytic virus drug based on vaccinia virus, modified by altering the thymidine kinase (TK) gene to enhance tumor selectivity and oncolytic activity. Developed by Tot Biopharm, it selectively replicates in and lyses cancer cells while stimulating antitumor immunity through immunogenic cell death and immune activation. It targets multiple solid tumors, including liver cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, brain glioma, biliary cancer, gallbladder tumors, metastatic cancer, NSCLC, gastric cancer, nasopharyngeal cancer, esophageal cancer, and pancreatic cancer, leveraging vaccinia virus's superior packaging capacity for functional elements compared to other oncolytic viruses.
