Overview

TWP-201 is a recombinant human follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) Fc fusion protein developed for the treatment of female infertility. It acts as an agonist of the follicle-stimulating hormone receptor (FSHR), stimulating ovarian follicle development. The drug is being developed by Shandong TheraWisdom Biopharma and has been evaluated in phase 1 clinical trials to assess its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and immunogenicity in healthy female subjects[1][2][3]. As a fusion protein combining FSH with an immunoglobulin Fc fragment, TWP-201 aims to enhance the half-life and efficacy compared to traditional FSH therapies[2].
