Overview

TX-103 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy targeting CD276 (B7-H3), developed primarily for the treatment of high-grade gliomas, including recurrent malignant glioma and WHO grade II glioma. The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that recognizes the CD276 antigen, which is overexpressed in various tumors. By targeting CD276, TX-103 aims to induce immunologic cytotoxicity against tumor cells. The drug is currently in phase 1 clinical trials for brain cancers such as glioblastoma and other high-grade gliomas. It has received orphan drug designation for glioma[1][2][4].
