Overview

TxD ADC is a preclinical-stage antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) being developed by Manhattan BioSolutions for the treatment of advanced cancers. The candidate utilizes a proprietary taxoid-class payload, which acts as a microtubule-targeting agent to induce cell cycle arrest and apoptosis. This cytotoxic warhead is conjugated to a tumor-targeting antibody via the company's proprietary legumain-activated linker technology. This linker is designed to release the payload specifically within the tumor microenvironment, where the protease legumain (an asparaginyl endopeptidase) is overexpressed. The program is being advanced in collaboration with Dr. Iwao Ojima's laboratory at Stony Brook University and aims to enhance therapeutic potency while overcoming common resistance mechanisms in solid tumors.
