It utilizes the company's TXP1 brain shuttle platform, which consists of a single-domain VNAR (variable new antigen receptor) antibody derived from sharks. This shuttle targets the transferrin receptor 1 (TfR1) to facilitate transport across the blood-brain barrier (BBB) via receptor-mediated transcytosis, enabling the delivery of the oligonucleotide payload into the central nervous system (CNS).
