Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TY-0609 is a selective small molecule inhibitor of Cyclin-dependent kinase 4 (CDK4) currently in preclinical development by Zhejiang Tongyuan Kang Medicine (TYK Medicines). CDK4 is a key regulator of the cell cycle, specifically the transition from the G1 to the S phase, and its overactivation is frequently observed in various solid tumors. By selectively targeting CDK4, TY-0609 aims to inhibit tumor cell proliferation while potentially offering a differentiated safety or efficacy profile compared to non-selective CDK4/6 inhibitors. The program is currently being evaluated for the treatment of solid tumors.
