Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Tydracin** is an inhaled nebulized non-antibiotic respiratory therapeutic being developed by Miracus, a wholly owned subsidiary of Tygrus, for acute bacterial rhinosinusitis and acute viral rhinosinusitis. The product is based on Tygrus's proprietary Tydronium chemistry, described as stabilized proton acid chemistry intended to deliver broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity through a non-antibiotic mechanism, with reported preclinical activity against antimicrobial-resistant bacterial pathogens, viruses, and fungi. According to company materials, Phase 1 human testing was completed without adverse effects and a Phase 2 trial was launched in April 2025 in the Dominican Republic targeting sinusitis, positioning the program for broader respiratory infection applications.
