Drug intelligence / Profile preview
TYP03B is a novel bivalent conjugate vaccine candidate designed to prevent both typhoid and paratyphoid A enteric fever. It targets Salmonella Typhi and Salmonella Paratyphi A, the causative agents of these diseases. The vaccine is being evaluated for safety and immunogenicity in healthy adults, with the aim of providing protection against both forms of enteric fever through a single immunization. This approach addresses an unmet need for broader protection in endemic regions where both pathogens are prevalent[1].
