Overview

TYRA-200 is an investigational, oral small molecule inhibitor targeting fibroblast growth factor receptors 1, 2, and 3 (FGFR1/2/3), with demonstrated potency against activating FGFR2 gene alterations and resistance mutations. It is being developed by Tyra Biosciences for the treatment of cancers driven by FGFR2 mutations, including intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer), endometrial cancer, and other advanced solid tumors. TYRA-200 is designed to overcome acquired resistance mutations that can arise during treatment with other FGFR inhibitors. The drug is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials evaluating its safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, and preliminary antitumor activity in adults with advanced/metastatic intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma or other solid tumors harboring activating alterations in FGFR2.
