Overview

Tyroservatide (CMS-024) is a synthetic tripeptide consisting of L-tyrosyl-L-seryl-L-valine (YSV), originally identified from porcine liver extracts. Developed by Kangzhe Pharmaceutical, it is designed as an anti-tumor agent for the treatment of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) and other solid tumors. The drug's mechanism involves the inhibition of tumor cell proliferation, migration, and invasion, as well as the suppression of tumor-induced angiogenesis. Clinical development has primarily focused on its use as an adjuvant or in combination with standard chemotherapy for advanced NSCLC patients in China, where it has reached Phase 3 clinical trials.
