Tyrosur

Tyrosur is a topical wound-healing medicinal product line containing the polypeptide antibiotic tyrothricin (in Tyrosur Wound Healing Gel and Tyrosur Wound Healing Powder) and, in a separate non‑antibiotic variant, dexpanthenol (Tyrosur CareExpert Wound Gel). It is used for the alleviating treatment of small, superficial, lightly exudative or non‑weeping skin wounds with bacterial superinfection, such as lacerations, scratches, abrasions, and other minor inflamed wounds, where the hydrogel base maintains a moist environment while the locally acting tyrothricin exerts broad‑spectrum antibacterial activity against tyrothricin‑sensitive pathogens, thereby reducing infection and supporting granulation, epithelization, and overall wound healing in adults and children.
