TZ101

**TZ101** is an ex vivo, point-of-care cell-fucosylation product developed by Targazyme. Formerly called **ASC-101**, it is supplied as a medical kit containing fucosyltransferase VI and GDP-fucose. Donor hematopoietic cells are incubated with the product for approximately 30 minutes at room temperature before infusion, enabling enzymatic fucosylation of cell-surface glycans. This is intended to improve homing and engraftment of transplanted blood-forming cells in bone marrow and may reduce transplantation-related complications including graft-versus-host disease, delayed hematopoietic recovery, and serious infections. Clinical development has included cord-blood and other hematopoietic stem-cell transplantation settings in patients with hematologic malignancies and myelodysplastic syndrome.
