U-factor is a deciduous tooth-derived stem cell culture supernatant developed by Hitonowa Medical. It is a regenerative medicine product composed of the secretome—including growth factors, cytokines, and exosomes—harvested from the culture medium of stem cells derived from primary (deciduous) teeth. The product is marketed as a therapeutic intervention for a variety of conditions, such as stroke (cerebral infarction), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), dementia, Parkinson's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and depression. It is intended to leverage paracrine signaling molecules to facilitate tissue repair, neuroprotection, and immunomodulation.
