Overview

U101 is a novel, non-antibiotic oral drug developed by TCM Biotech International Corp. for the treatment and prevention of recurrent urinary tract infections (rUTI). Its mechanism of action involves creating a protective barrier on the inner wall of the urinary tract, which prevents pathogenic bacteria from adhering to urothelial cells. Additionally, it facilitates the repair of damaged urothelial tissue, thereby effectively preventing recurrent infections. This drug is being developed as an innovative alternative to traditional antibiotic therapies and hyaluronic acid instillations for rUTI.
