Drug intelligence / Profile preview
UB101 is a multi-specific, humanized single-domain antibody candidate being developed for the treatment of retinal diseases, with a primary focus on wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD). Developed using DotBio's proprietary DotBody technology, UB101 is designed to be a next-generation therapeutic that addresses the limitations of current treatments by targeting multiple pathways involved in ocular neovascularization. The drug is part of a co-development agreement between Uni-Bio Science Group and DotBio, where Uni-Bio oversees manufacturing (CMC), regulatory submissions, and clinical commercialization, particularly within the Chinese market. As a single-domain antibody, UB101 potentially offers advantages in stability and tissue penetration compared to traditional monoclonal antibodies.
