Drug intelligence / Profile preview
UBP-Her2-CART (also known as UWHer2T) is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T-cell (CAR-T) therapy being developed by UWELL Biopharma for the treatment of HER2-positive solid tumors. The therapy involves engineering a patient's T cells to express a CAR that specifically recognizes and binds to the Human Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor 2 (HER2) on the surface of tumor cells, leading to T-cell activation and targeted tumor cell lysis. As of 2024, the program is in the preclinical stage, specifically listed under CAR engineering in the developer's pipeline.
