UC-112 is a small molecule inhibitor of survivin (BIRC5), a member of the inhibitor of apoptosis (IAP) protein family. Developed by researchers at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, UC-112 demonstrates potent antiproliferative activity across multiple cancer cell lines, including those with multidrug resistance such as melanoma.
