Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**UCARTMUC1** is an investigational preclinical allogeneic CAR-T cell therapy developed by Cellectis for solid tumors, with a particular focus on triple-negative breast cancer. It consists of gene-edited donor-derived T cells engineered using TALEN technology to express a chimeric antigen receptor directed against mucin 1, a cell-surface glycoprotein frequently overexpressed in epithelial cancers including many triple-negative breast cancers. The product is designed as an off-the-shelf immuno-oncology therapy and has been described as incorporating molecular armoring intended to improve activity within the immunosuppressive solid-tumor microenvironment.
