UCB1332 (also known as NPT200-11) is an oral small-molecule inhibitor of alpha-synuclein misfolding and aggregation, developed by UCB in partnership with Neuropore Therapies for the treatment of Parkinson's disease. It is a racemic mixture whose enantiomers are minzasolmin (UCB0599, the active R-enantiomer) and UCB2713 (the S-enantiomer). UCB1332 targets the alpha-synuclein pathway to prevent the formation of toxic oligomeric aggregates, aiming to slow or halt neurodegeneration. It has completed Phase 1 clinical evaluation, though subsequent clinical development has focused primarily on the purified single enantiomer minzasolmin.
