Drug intelligence / Profile preview
UCL70805F is an investigational chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell therapy developed by UTC Therapeutics for the treatment of CD70-positive advanced clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC). The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that specifically targets Cluster of Differentiation 70 (CD70), a surface antigen that is highly and frequently expressed in ccRCC but has limited expression in normal tissues. By targeting CD70, UCL70805F aims to direct the cytotoxic activity of the immune system specifically against malignant cells. It is currently being evaluated in early-phase clinical trials to determine its safety profile, optimal dosing, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced or metastatic renal cell carcinoma who have failed standard therapies.
