Overview

UCLM802 is an autologous chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy targeting mesothelin (MSLN), a cell surface glycoprotein overexpressed in various solid tumors. The therapy involves collecting a patient's own T cells, genetically modifying them to express a CAR specific for mesothelin, and reinfusing them after lymphodepleting chemotherapy. Upon administration, these engineered T cells specifically recognize and kill MSLN-expressing tumor cells through immunologic cytotoxicity. UCLM802 is being developed primarily for the treatment of advanced malignant solid neoplasms that are positive for mesothelin expression, including gastrointestinal neoplasms and other solid tumors[1][4][10].
