Overview

UCMYM802 is an investigational cell therapy consisting of T lymphocytes genetically modified to express a chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) targeting the human tumor-associated antigen mesothelin. The product uses circular mRNA technology to encode the anti-mesothelin CAR, enabling targeted recognition and destruction of mesothelin-positive malignant solid tumor cells. It is being developed by UTC Therapeutics (Shanghai) for the treatment of advanced solid tumors expressing mesothelin, with its first-in-human Phase 1 clinical trial initiated in March 2024[1][2][3][5]. The primary aim is to evaluate safety, tolerability, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, immunogenicity, and preliminary efficacy in patients with advanced mesothelin-positive malignancies.
