Overview

UDC-Exos is an autologous exosome-based therapy derived from urine-derived cells (UDCs). Developed by the Children's Hospital of Shanghai, it is being investigated for the repair of the corpus spongiosum in children with severe hypospadias. The therapy involves the topical application of these exosomes to prepuce or oral mucosa grafts during staged urethroplasty.
