Overview

UGN-302 is an **investigational, combinatorial, intravesical immunotherapy** developed for the treatment of high-grade non-muscle invasive bladder cancer (HG NMIBC). It combines UGN-201, a toll-like receptor 7/8 agonist, with UGN-301, an anti-CTLA-4 antibody, and is formulated for direct administration into the bladder using UroGen Pharma’s RTGel platform[1]. The collaboration between The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center and UroGen Pharma is advancing this novel local therapy, aiming to provide clinical benefit while limiting systemic immune-related adverse events associated with standard immunotherapy. The partnership is focused on both clinical and nonclinical development of UGN-302, with the potential to offer a next-generation immunotherapy alternative to radical cystectomy (bladder removal) for patients with limited options[1].
