Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Ulenistamab (PBP1510) is a first-in-class, humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody developed by Prestige Biopharma. It specifically targets and neutralizes Pancreatic Adenocarcinoma Upregulated Factor (PAUF), a protein overexpressed in most pancreatic cancers and implicated in tumor proliferation, angiogenesis, immune evasion, metastasis, and resistance to chemotherapy. By binding to PAUF with high specificity and affinity, ulenistamab inhibits its tumorigenic effects both within cancer cells and the tumor microenvironment. The drug is being investigated as monotherapy and in combination with gemcitabine for advanced or metastatic pancreatic adenocarcinoma. Ulenistamab has received Orphan Drug Designation from the FDA, EMA, and MFDS as well as Fast Track designation from the FDA[2][3][6][8].
