The drug features a unique dual mechanism of action: it redirects precancerous cells toward healthy cell production and exhibits potent anti-inflammatory properties. By addressing the root cause of polyp formation and progression to malignancy, ULI262 aims to provide the first potential non-surgical treatment option for FAP patients. The development program is supported by Curileum's strategic location at St Mark's Hospital in London, which houses one of the world's largest registries of FAP patients. The company is pursuing Orphan Drug Designation to facilitate clinical testing in this rare disease population.
