Overview

The combination **ulocuplumab + bortezomib + dexamethasone** is an experimental regimen for the treatment of multiple myeloma. - **Ulocuplumab** is a human monoclonal antibody that targets the chemokine receptor CXCR4 and inhibits its function, disrupting tumor cell homing, survival, and microenvironment interactions. - **Bortezomib** is a small-molecule proteasome inhibitor that induces apoptosis in cancer cells by inhibiting the 26S proteasome, disrupting degradation of pro-apoptotic factors. - **Dexamethasone** is a synthetic glucocorticoid that induces apoptosis and has cytotoxic activity in hematologic malignancies. The triplet combination aims to enhance antitumor activity via synergistic disruption of multiple biological pathways, primarily in relapsed or refractory multiple myeloma. Clinical evaluation of ulocuplumab in combination with bortezomib and dexamethasone has occurred in clinical trials, but is not an established standard regimen.
