Overview
Ultitar CS is a topical combination therapy formulated as an ointment or lotion for the treatment of chronic inflammatory skin conditions, primarily psoriasis, eczema, and seborrheic dermatitis. It contains three active ingredients: clobetasol propionate, a highly potent corticosteroid that suppresses inflammatory and immune responses; salicylic acid, a keratolytic agent that softens and promotes the shedding of thick, scaly skin; and coal tar, which slows excessive skin cell growth and provides antipruritic and anti-inflammatory benefits. Together, these components work synergistically to reduce redness, swelling, itching, and scaling, while improving skin texture and facilitating deeper penetration of the active ingredients.
