Overview

ULTRA Duramune Lyme is a low-volume, highly purified, inactivated bacterin vaccine for dogs, indicated for the vaccination of healthy dogs 9 weeks of age and older against Lyme disease caused by the spirochete Borrelia burgdorferi. It is formulated as a 0.5 mL dose and is designed to generate an immune response to multiple outer surface proteins (including OspA and OspC) of B. burgdorferi, improving coverage against strains with shifting Osp expression while using Elanco’s PureFil purification process to reduce extraneous proteins and cellular debris and thereby minimize vaccine reactions and discomfort.[1][4]
