Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**ULTRA Hybrid FVRCP** is a non-adjuvanted, reduced-volume (0.5 mL) feline core vaccine developed by Elanco for preventing three major viral diseases in cats: feline viral rhinotracheitis (FVR, caused by feline herpesvirus FHV-1), feline calicivirus (FCV), and feline panleukopenia (FPV). It combines an exclusive inactivated dual-strain calicivirus (targeting both traditional and novel strains for broader protection) with modified-live components for panleukopenia and feline herpesvirus, leveraging PureFil™ Technology to minimize extraneous proteins and cellular debris for reduced discomfort and reactions. Administered subcutaneously, it offers effective immunity with a more comfortable injection experience compared to standard 1 mL adjuvanted vaccines, and is part of Elanco's ULTRA line of purified feline vaccines.[1][4][7]
